It's official, the new company that'll be superseding Cannonbose and a couple of partner firms is named Acqal. Acqal will create quality, reusable, documented online business products sold at set value pricing levels with on-going support agreement options. On the services side, we'll be specializing in content management system migration, training, and support of client web systems.

Acqal Partners

Michael Cannon of Cannonbose will be joining Acqal as CEO and CTO. Michael brings print and publishing, engineering, and web agency market experience with technical sales and complete software engineering life-cycle knowledge.

Virgil Huston of Kudzu Media will be joining Acqal as COO and CFO. Virgil brings government, political, and teaching industry experience to Acqal with financial, operations, project management, documentation, and training skills.

Nicole Johnson of nDEZINE will be joining Acqal as CMO. Nicole brings online marketing, online consulting, interactive/web design, and graphic design experience in the ad agency, teaching, and education markets.

Getting Going

To start, we'll be focusing on our internal processes to ensure our client support systems don't fail under load or when it's the weekend. Next, we'll be working to create solid products and services that are consistent, professional, and value priced. Then, we're looking to continue to grow our client base slowly by creating long-lasting, mutually-beneficial relationships. Finally, we'll listen to our clients as we work to improve ourselves and grow our business to span Asia, America, and Europe.

Moving Forward

In August and September, we'll be notifying and working with clients for the company transitions. From October to December, we'll be focused on our current client base. In January 2009, full marketing and initial product deployement will begin.
