Jaspreet Singh, Systems Analyst
Jaspreet has worked quite successfully between the United States and India. His experience includes time at the prestigious Microsoft Redmond campus before returning to software development freelancing. He has worked in a number of desktop based areas to include Microsoft Access applications, Microsoft Excel macros, VB programs, and Visual C++ OCXs. His web development environments, range from ASP to PHP in coordination with MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases. More recently he's been focusing on TYPO3.
His accomplishments partake of being able to program a assembly language-based disk sector viewer without previous experience integrating C++ and ASM programs. Another is having become familiar with the Unix/Linux environment in the old days when it was still esoteric and difficult.
Jaspreet is quite capable of overcoming difficult tasks given that software development is a constant struggle against bugs, undocumented procedures, and configuration. Recently he successfully struggled through setting up a complete Docbook documentation environment. The Docbook system allows for self-documenting software which leads to simplified extending and maintenance of software.
He spends his weekends between family and tinkering with his motorcyle.
